Life is never easy just because the year just started.

Hi Friend,

How are you doing so far? It’s only been a week since we started 2026 and if the start of your year has been anything like mine, then I know it’s definitely been interesting so far.

Today’s word is a simple encouragement that comes from Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ which states “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” [‭ESV‬‬]

Sometimes it easy to set goals, the hard part usually comes in attaining them.

Perhaps you have attained all the goals you set for the last 7 days. Or maybe, like me, you’ve already struggled with some of them. The encouragement is for you then - Don’t grow weary.

From headlines and personal experience, life is probably not gonna be any easier because we’re in a new year.

However, one thing that’s for sure is that we have a good God, who promises to take care of us. He has promised to never leave or forsake us.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭20 states: “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” [ESV‬‬]

So if you’ve had a frazzled start of the first 7days of the year, let me encourage you friend - God’s got you! You can rest in the fact that He is with you. Rest in that.

Dear Father,

Thank you for seeing us through the first 7 days of 2026. We are grateful for life, health, blessings, tears, testing and trials that have already happened. Lord, please give us the strength to not give up or grow weary this year; but instead to lean on you and truly believe that you are always with us and we can lean on you. Thank you for the next 7days and all that you have in store for us. We surrender all! In Jesus name. Amen.
